Since starting his practice in 1998, Dr. Peter Jensen has successfully performed thousands of procedures. He is board certified in phlebology (vein treatment), cardiovascular surgery, and general surgery. Dr. Jensen is a cardothoracic and vascular surgeon specializing in the treatment of common vein disorders, specifically in the lower extremities.
Dr. Jensen graduated with honors from Harvard College in 1986. He then attended the University of Utah School of Medicine, from which he graduated in 1990. His post-medical school training includes residencies in surgery at Dartmouth, Stanford, and the University of Vermont, capped by a fellowship in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago until 2001. He has board certifications in phlebology and cardiovascular and general surgery.
