Dr. Peter Jensen is a Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgeon specializing in the treatment of vein disorders and vein disease. His practiced has focused in particular on vein disease in the legs and lower extremities. Dr. Jensen is triple-board certified in phlebology (vein treatment), general surgery and thoracic surgery.
Dr. Jensen graduated with Honors from Harvard College in 1986. He then attended the University of Utah School of Medicine, from which he graduated in 1990. He performed surgical training at Dartmouth, Stanford, and the University of Vermont, and served as a fellow in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago until 2001.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, Peter Jensen is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and the American College of Phlebology. Peter Jensen has also been awarded the credential of Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) and Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
